McGill mRNA Therapeutics Platform Receives Core Platform Recognition
The McGill mRNA Therapeutics Platform has been officially recognized as a Core Platform Facility within McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, marking an important milestone in the development of the platform.
This recognition reflects our commitment to strengthening shared research infrastructure and advancing innovation in mRNA and RNA-based therapeutics. As a core facility, the platform provides researchers across Quebec and beyond with access to specialized expertise, infrastructure, and technologies to support mRNA research and therapeutic development.
The platform looks forward to collaborating with academic, clinical, and industry researchers to advance innovative applications across diverse mRNA modalities and accelerate the translation of RNA technologies into new therapeutic opportunities.

AReNA brought together the RNA ecosystem for a networking breakfast and scientific discovery session at McGill, one of the three partners in the RNA service platform network alongside Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM) / Montreal Clinical Research Institute and Université de Sherbrooke.
Researchers and industry partners were welcomed to McGill University for a tour of the McGill mRNA Therapeutic Platform, a state‑of‑the‑art environment dedicated to RNA research.
This gathering enabled meaningful exchanges between the academic and industrial communities, fostering connections, knowledge sharing, and the exploration of future research and development collaborations.
